LIGHTWAVE Support

Keep your records safe while resolving an issue. These notes describe the current app and its recovery limits.

Contact the developer

Privacy and support email
Mornkkk@163.com.
Developer: Morn. Support emails are handled personally by the developer to answer questions, troubleshoot issues and handle privacy requests. Emails and their attachments are retained for 90 days after the issue is resolved, then deleted. No response-time commitment has been set.

Useful details include the app version, device and OS version, steps to reproduce the issue and redacted screenshots. Do not send complete backups, private media, detailed health records, device passcodes or card details unsolicited. If further information is needed, its purpose will be explained first. Related emails and attachments follow the retention period above.

Records and recovery

Where are my records? How do I move to a new phone?

Records and imported media are stored in local profiles. There is no automatic cloud sync of the full library. On the old phone, use Data & Backup → Backup & Restore to export a full backup. Import it on the new phone and check the records and media before removing anything from the old device. A backup can include exact Health workout link identifiers, but no raw Health samples. The matching samples must still be readable in Apple Health after restoration. Backups are not encrypted; store them safely.

Does restoring a purchase restore my records?

No. It restores Apple purchase access only. Workouts and media require your own record backup. The developer has no server copy to recover.

A backup profile already exists, or saving fails

Restore does not merge or overwrite an existing record identity. Do not delete existing data just to continue an import. Keep the backup and your input, check available device storage and retry. Do not uninstall or clear records before saving succeeds.

Only some photos in a batch were imported

Successful items are kept. Open the failed-items message and retry only those items. For cloud-library originals, check that Photos can read the item and the network is available. Check storage before retrying a save; you do not need to import successful items again.

Does deleting a record delete original photos or Health data?

It does not automatically delete originals in Photos, exported backups or Apple Health records. Manage those separately, along with pending Watch changes and conflicts.

Apple Watch

How do I log sets on Watch?

Arrange a strength workout on the paired iPhone and confirm its start before logging on Watch. After Watch receives the exercises and sets, you can edit weight, reps and duration, add or delete the current set, and mark completion. Cardio and climbing also have activity status, timers and optional Health recording. Detailed cardio values, workout planning and climbing routes remain on iPhone. Watch does not start independent plans or finish cardio or mixed sessions from a strength-only set snapshot.

Phone offline, changes waiting to sync, or a conflict

Changes are saved on Watch first. Keep the devices paired, open the phone app and retry once connected. A conflict does not automatically replace phone values. Review it, edit again using current phone values, or explicitly discard the Watch change. Do not uninstall the Watch app to resolve unsynced records.

Why can’t I finish and save yet?

A strength workout needs at least one set with valid values marked complete. iPhone must be reachable, and pending changes and current-workout conflicts must be resolved. After you tap Finish and save on Watch, the workout ends only after iPhone confirms its save; Health recording then saves to Apple Health. Without confirmation, or if saving fails, do not treat the workout as finished. Keep your records and retry once the phone is connected. From the paired Watch, you can request ending the current cardio activity or finishing and saving a mixed or cardio-only workout. iPhone must confirm the activity end or workout save. Climbing still ends on iPhone.

Health permission or heart rate is unavailable

Health recording is optional. After welcome finishes and iPhone enters Today, the first ordinary entry requests permission through Apple’s native sheet to read workouts, heart rate and active energy. Watch presents Apple’s native Health authorization on its first eligible foreground entry. Ordinary reopening does not repeat the initial authorization flow. Rejection or cancellation still allows manual logging. Your automatic-recording choice stays enabled until you turn it off. Once system permissions allow it, recording follows each confirmed phone activity and saves when it ends, without enabling it for every workout. Settings → Privacy & permissions → Apple Health → Record automatically with Apple Watch on iPhone and Health tracking on Watch control the same choice. An iPhone change needs Watch confirmation; the phone switch does not repeat the initial read-permission request. If permission is missing, explicitly retry through Manage health permissions → Request access to read health data on iPhone, or Enable Health access under Health tracking on Watch. Change previously decided permissions in Health or system settings. No sample does not mean a zero heart rate. Turning automatic recording off does not delete existing Health data; delete old records separately in Health if needed.

Why are heart rate or calories missing from a saved record?

The health card shows only readable measurements collected by Apple Watch for this activity and synced to iPhone, including average heart rate, active energy and a heart-rate chart. It stays hidden if you did not wear a watch, did not enable recording, collected no measurements or Health has not yet synced them. Removing the watch preserves measurements already collected; missing periods are not estimated. Check that Watch Health recording has finished saving and the paired devices are connected, then review Health permissions. A Health save failure does not delete your manual LIGHTWAVE record.

How do I switch appearance?

On iPhone, open Settings → Appearance and choose Light or Dark. Light is the default, and your choice is saved. On Watch, open Appearance near the bottom of the main page and choose Light or Dark. The selection stays on Watch and does not require phone synchronization.

Maps and the Lock Screen

Can I use the app without location access?

Yes. Search for a venue or enter it manually. Location permission is requested when you first use the location feature, and map services may require a network connection. LIGHTWAVE does not track your route in the background.

I don’t want workouts on my Lock Screen

Manage LIGHTWAVE Live Activities in system settings. Summaries may show exercise, workout or venue names and completion counts. Choose settings that suit your privacy needs.

Privacy

Read the privacy policy for data flows, permissions, backups and deletion limits. This page does not upload diagnostics or accept files.

Ten-day trial and one-time purchase

The ten-day period starts when you first complete the welcome screen and enter Home. Confirm the free trial before recording. Settings → LIGHTWAVE Full Version shows the trial deadline and purchase status. Reopening, claiming later or restoring never restarts the period. No subscription or automatic charge. After expiry, a one-time purchase is required to keep adding and editing records; see the App Store for the price. Existing records remain available to view, back up, restore and delete, and active workouts can finish.

A verified trial may show one in-app reminder within three days of expiry and one in the final day. Closing a reminder prevents repeats; no notification permission is requested. Restore Purchases restores access only; your records and media require a backup you saved.
